Federico Erebia is a Lambda Literary Award-winning author.
He is also a retired physician, woodworker, poet, and illustrator.

Federico is on the SCBWI Impact & Legacy Fund's steering committee, where he created the School Librarian's Mini Library grants. Every quarter, three school librarians choose $550 worth of books from a curated list of books by and/or about individuals with marginalized or underrepresented identities.
He is on the board of Read Your World, Inc. (formerly Multicultural Children's Book Day) where he illustrated the Creating Inclusive Classrooms: LGBTQIA+ 2025 Classroom Kit poster.
He is a national leader for Authors Against Book Bans (AABB).
Federico enjoys the intersections of his gay, neurodivergent, and Mexican American identities. He and his husband live near Boston, Massachusetts.
